One of the most helpful ways to deal with a traumatic situation is to act it out in a different way and have the experience of it being different.

For example, if you are running a race and had always come in last place you could act out being in a race where you win.

Sometimes just having an experience once is enough to shift a pattern.

Family constellation work is an example of this type of healing.

Having people represent different members of your family can give you a chance to work out issues even when those people are not alive anymore.

Drama occurs in everyone’s life, it’s up to you to choose how you deal with it.
