Amera employs a holistic approach to marketing that focuses on utilizing experts to build your firm’s brand. Recognized brands are more trusted and therefore more likely to attract and retain clients. Using traditional public relations tactics as well as the latest digital marketing strategies, we translate the best of what your firm does offline, into the online marketplace.

Amera adds value in multiple ways. One of the more notable ways we do this is through our Creative Team. Having a structured team of dedicated creatives allows Amera to create and execute innovative content campaigns that establish authority and increase brand visibility. Strong ideas are the backbone of a successful marketing campaign.

Whether through practice area pages, blog posts, press releases, infographics, videos, Slideshares, email and social media campaigns or specialty projects, our expert team will create top-notch content that drives actionable leads.

From the moment your website launches and for as long as you remain a client, Amera will oversee SEO best practices of the best (industry) websites and Google Webmaster Guidelines in on-site areas that include the following:

  • UMAC: Each URL has (metadata, anchor text [text links / backlinks on other pages] & content). UMAC = context for Google… the more consistent the UMAC signals, the stronger Google believes in the context for the URL. Also, # of links, power of those links, traffic, and content interaction. UMAC is the SEO foundation. (do not repeat exact keywords/phrases on a page, + vary anchor texts). Do not over-optimize, or chase trends.
  • SERP: info that shows up on a google entry
  • MONEY SITE: optimize metadata 1st, then create Google content (media/text/title/business listings/image captions/descriptions, etc.)
  • GOOGLE values: integrity, things it can understand, rare things, things with lots of attention, real-looking things, things with purpose. Google also penalizes sites that don’t play fair. Bots look at the backstage and frontstage
  • PBN: gathering existing value already on the web that is aligned with Google algorithm, each one alone may not be that valuable, it’s when they are all combined
  • SCHEMA: Use Schema vocabulary (http://schema.org/docs/gs.html) to markup page HTML with microdata & help Google understand the website content. Can help with google rich text snippets (choose the right language convention, probably whichever one WordPress works with best: json-ld, microdata or rdfa)

Internal Links: These are the links that connect one page on a domain to a different page on the same domain and only reference a site’s own content, helping with navigation and information hierarchy. A solid internal link structure is a signal that the content on your site is intuitively arranged and information is easy to find, and helps users navigate your page easily spending more time, and consuming more content.

Content: The most important thing on a webpage is the content. No amount of technical tinkering can make up for content that is poorly written and/or not relevant to a searcher’s needs. From a content standpoint, optimization begins with identifying content needs, which can include basic blogs and static pages, or more visually-engaging content such as videos, infographics and Slideshare presentations. Our creative team, writers and editors abide by journalistic standards that convey content authority.

Page Speed: Your site must be technically sound and display quickly for users. Research has shown that most users abandon a page that takes more than 5-10 seconds to load. Amera optimizes page speed through a number of techniques, including image compression, reducing and packaging JavaScript, and having a proper html to text ratio.

Titles: First impressions matter on the web. Title tags appear in browsers, search engine results pages and external websites, providing a snapshot for the user of what the page contains, often through keywords and branding. Expertly-crafted titles help your content stand out and make a good first impression.

Mobile Compatibility: Google has championed “mobile friendliness” as an important factor in search rankings, especially on mobile devices. Smartphones and tablets account for an ever-increasing share of Internet usage and represent about half of all Google searches. Having a website that is great-looking and easy-to-navigate on desktop screens is no longer enough. Your site must be equally impressive and responsive when viewed on smaller devices, with sufficiently large text and links that are easy to click. Every site that Amera produces uses “responsive design” to give users the best experience, regardless of what type of device they are using. Our team has stayed with this trend.

Our System Diagram

  • Relationships: List of relationships to the money site from other web properties (power & context for each): Web 2.0 sites, social accounts, blogs, etc.
  • Connections: private blog network > social account > money site. Or, PBN > web 2.0 blog & social account, separately, both > money site. Or, PBN & social accounts separately > money site.
  • Frontstage Schema: Create a spreadsheet or databases to organize all content with microdata based on schema vocabulary (examples: bus. name, address, product, service, founder, service area, ratings/reviews, SameAs, phone #, hrs. of operation)
  • Backstage Schema: Create a spreadsheet or databases to organize all content with microdata based on schema vocabulary (examples: URL, Host, Nameserver, Login, Password, eMail, Credit Card Client Name, Address, Phone, PBNs, etc.)
  • Sales Process: Basic marketing and networking, Share cards with high-end sales people, Offer affiliate relationships, Get a money site ranked and begin to share on social media, Send video proposals only to qualified prospects, Do as much collaborative sales as possible (due diligence).
