When we get injured, we often instinctively rub the point where we’re hurt. Most of us already understand acupressure intuitively. it becomes even more effective when you learn which points help which issues.

When starting out, we often teach a point on the hand and a point on the foot to make it easy. The same point is on the left and right hand as is that similar point on the left and right foot.

The hand point helps upper body issues and the foot point is for lower body issues.

These are known as the “four gates”.

The point that helps the upper body is known as Large Intestine 4 and the point for the lower body is known as Liver 3 and they can be seen here.
