The Bay area preparedness Fair was created in Berkeley California and wanted to help people prepare for any type of challenging situation that they may experience in their lives and be able to thrive no matter what.
The villain in the story is the grim reaper and all of his acquaintances.
The internal problem is fear and confusion
External problems are loss, pain and misery
The philosophical conflict is wanting to expect the best while preparing for the worst
We care deeply about helping people survive and thrive and have been practicing together for over 10 years
We have given over a dozen trainings to various organizations in the Bay area and have many examples of people that we have helped become more prepared and confident
We help people with a very simple plan.First check in with a trusted source that you believe in to see what is most important. Next assess your and your loved ones situation and see what would help the most. Next practice what will help you most as often as possible.
We make a commitment to every group that we help that we will give our most valuable training and experiences possible if they are willing to show up fully and learn them.
We ask everyone to at least get a 3-day emergency kit together at a minimum.
We suggest spending a few minutes at every day at least improving survival skills and collaborating with others to practice real world results.
At the Preparedness Fair, there were many booze and vendors and a wide variety of seminars on different topics presented. Our class called “duct tape first aid” was the most popular of the event.
The result of our trainings has been giving people an increased level of confidence, helping them to realistically assess where they are currently, customize their skills and resources to their situation as efficiently and effectively as possible and to be ready for any type of emergency 24 hours a day.
This helps them avoid unnecessary pain and suffering and to be able to share it with their loved ones.
We help people transform from being afraid and unprepared to being courageous and ready for whatever happens.
