Bright Ideas was an ecological design studio started in Berkeley California
They want to make the world a better place by reducing pollution as much as possible
The villain in the story was ignorance and experience and greed
The internal conflict was wanting to create an ideal business while helping to heal the world at the same time
The external problem was not knowing how to run a business and believing that fantasies would happen on their own
Philosophical conflict was wanting to teach wisdom practices while making a profit
When I got involved with bright ideas my dream was to model cooperative business as a way forward in the world
I had a great deal of experience with co-ops and leadership and assumed that we could use all of our skills and abilities together to create an amazing business
The process I took them through was starting up with a small student loan and growing into a large and powerful organization through best practices
We made agreements to commit ourselves fully for several years and give it the old college try
I asked everyone to contribute their unique abilities and wisdom to the process and share ecological design with everyone possible
We ended up helping over 30 Bay area clients reduce their waste and expenses and taught best practices to a number of organizations along the way
We avoided wasting electricity and money for a great number of people
We transformed from hoping the world becomes a better place to helping it become one
