The University of California-Berkeley Martial Arts was started in Berkeley California
They wanted to have the number one martial arts program in the United States
The villain in the story is ignorance and laziness
The internal problem was a need for complete control and perfectionism
The external problems were constant turnover using people and being extremely rigid
The conflict was providing excellent martial art training while providing low cost and affordable means to have it happen
When we met them they had a number of issues that needed to be addressed and had limited staff to care for the medical and health issues
We offered them a chance to create a multidisciplinary medical team with experts from many backgrounds and provided years of low cost and free healthcare
They were able to provide medical resources for dozens of tournaments at a local national and international level and become one of the premier martial arts organizations in the world
They were able to transform from being a small startup group to being one of the largest and most successful martial arts organizations in the world
