Living Creatively Now
1 Image
You have a self image and you can change it regardless of your age. It all starts with awareness on your current thoughts. From there you retrain your mind by refusing to mention or focus on any negative statements about yourself, for it’s the negative thinking that shrinks your self image. As you do this, turn your back on the failures of the past and concentrate on the competence of yesterday while you pull that into the present moment. As you continue making this a conscious effort eventually all negative thoughts and feelings are clouded out.
2 Success Mechanism
You have a self several success mechanism within you that will steer your mind to a productive goal if you allow it. Think of yourself as a child learning a new task and recall how you learned things through repetition. You continued to try and do something until you were able to. As an adult its no different. Its like a small recorder in your brain that continues to repeat what you play, so you must first become conscious of what you are playing through daily conscious observation. Once you are aware of what you are playing about yourself you can change it. Your subconscious mind knows what to do, it just needs to be directed in a way that brings you success and happiness.
3 Imagination
You are the product of your imagination and you can use it either constructively or destructively. If you think well of yourself and have that confidence in yourself, you will succeed. If you think in negative terms you will fail, unless you change your self-image. Everything depends upon your concept of yourself. Often this is impacted from from a past experience that chips away at your confidence and causes self doubt. However, all of this is changeable. You start the process by focusing only on your successes while releasing all fears that pertain to failure. Knowing that a mistake doesn’t make a failure for success is learning how to rise above the failure. An important note here is that it is the opinion of yourself that counts, nothing else. Knowing this, you can learn how to use your imagination constructively to change your self-image, by visualizing yourself as you desire to be on a continual basis.
4 Creative Thought and Action
Change your mind to think and act creatively. You learn to reach your goal by exercising your success mechanism daily and refusing to be sidetracked by negative feelings. You enhance this by focusing only on your accomplishments of the past while remaining in the present. In doing this you are no longer sidetracked by negative feelings or past stories. If the situation in present defies solution, you sleep on it not with it, and in that way you commit your success mechanism to work subconsciously while you sleep. You initiate this by focusing on the problem prior to sleep knowing the solution will be provided and you continue to repeat this effort until all is made clear.
5 Art of Relaxation
Learn how to relax your mind and your body by connecting to yourself. When the mind is in a relaxed state its more receptive, so you are able to program success in your subconscious mind just like a computer is programmed. To start this process of relaxation, first you forgive others, second you forgive yourself, third you see yourself as your best – a person of confidence, and finally you learn to keep up with yourself and not someone else. You only compare you to you, your present self to your past self and you will see your growth and progress aiding your confidence. It is equally important to release all chronic frustration. Everyone has frustration during the day, but chronic frustration is due to the problems of yesterday that you continue and carry with you like a pack of weights on your back. It’s that repetition of those feelings of the past that you must turn your back to, and you do this by living fully in the present. Start with a few minutes daily sitting with yourself, observing yourself as you continue to learn how to diffuse anxiety and get yourself into a relaxed state with ease.
6 Power of Beliefs
Your beliefs can either be true or false, but if you believe them you act that part. Beliefs become habits and habits are nothing more than self-hypnosis. The important aspect here is to learn how to de-hypnotize yourself from those negative beliefs. To start this process make it a daily effort to concentrate only on your success while remaining present. Create a clear picture on how you wish to see yourself and focus on that daily. As you continue, you will find your opinion of yourself change as you expand your self-image and increase your confidence.
7 Quest for Happiness
Happiness is a habit, and its just as easy to be happy as it is to be unhappy, as its just a cycle of thoughts. Its a cycle that increases through love and starts by accepting the fact that happiness belongs to you. You expand on this through a conscious effort on a daily basis, as you focus on your successes while incorporating self-compliments. Happiness expands with love for yourself and others. If you’re hurting others for your happiness, you will find a quick destruction. As your self-image increases, you will find a greater love within and a vast increase with your happiness.
